1. Data Minimization

GhostCopy adheres to the principle of minimal knowledge. We do not collect, store, or analyze the content of your clipboard ("Transmissions"). Your data is encrypted locally before transmission and decrypted only upon receipt by your authorized device.

2. The Ephemeral Tunnel

Transmissions pass through our secure relay server ("The Oasis"). This server retains no memory. Once a transmission is successfully delivered, it is immediately purged from volatile memory. If delivery fails within 5 minutes, the packet dissolves.

3. Device Identification

To facilitate connection, we store a hash of your Device ID and a user-generated Public Key. We do not store personal identifiers, email addresses (unless provided for Support), or location data.

4. Imperial Decree (Compliance)

We comply with all major data protection regulations (GDPR, CCPA). You have the right to delete your account keys at any time via the app settings, which irrevocably severs your connection to the network.

5. Third-Party Sentries

We may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons: to facilitate our Service; to provide the Service on our behalf; to perform Service-related services; or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used. These third parties have access to your hidden data only to perform these tasks on our behalf.

6. Security Protocols

The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
